Children's Ministry (Promiseland): Late-Childhood Programmer

Do you have a passion to be an up front leader and teacher of children for grades 2–5?

Are you able to clearly and creatively communicate the Bible that engages large groups of kids?

We are looking for a fantastic individual to meet the needs of this growing ministry! In this role as the Late-Childhood Programmer for our South Barrington Promiseland ministry, you will be the person responsible for adapting lessons to create and execute highly engaging late-childhood age curriculum and programming. You will utilize your creative communication skills to execute weekend programs along side a team of volunteers. Your responsibilities would include the recruitment and development of a volunteer teaching team. You will partner with the another Late-Childhood Programmer on all aspects of adapting curriculum and delivery across this age group of grades 2–5. This open position will be responsible for engaging approximately 700 kids during the Saturday and Sunday services. The success of our ministry relies on staff team work, servant leadership, and the continual development of key volunteers.

Promiseland Media Specialist

This full time position will be the primary visual storyteller for Willow Creek Promiseland Children's Ministry and is responsible for designing, shooting, and editing video, animation, and graphics that communicate in creative and impactful ways. This person will create from pre-post production the media needed for weekend experiences, ministry events. In addition he/she will need to build and lead volunteer video teams. Technical skills in editing, video production, graphic design and video training as well as leadership, organization, team building ability are also required.

Promiseland Stage Set Creator (Part-Time)

This part time position develops and creates Large Group stage sets and environments for Promiseland Programming. promiseland is our Children's Ministry for Age 2 - Grade 5. This person will create prayer walls, stage sets, large props as well as teaching resources and materials. in addition this person will need to develope, equip and retain a team of volunteers. He/she must also be able to brainstorm and partner with Promiseland Production and Programming teams.

Skills needed for this position include visual creativity, craftsmanship, organization, team building and familiarity with the needs of children. Experience in the visual arts, craftsmanship and set design are preffered.

Communication Coordinator – Part Time

This role will also collaborate with other internal departments to achieve brand consistencies and communicate C&J ministry efforts through written, verbal and electronic mediums.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with other ministries to maintain the C&J website by keeping content and images fresh and creating and maintaining registration forms for events as needed. This position will also manage the development and implementation of collateral materials for C&J initiatives as well as coordinate efforts with communications volunteers. In addition, this person will coordinate and facilitate the ongoing production of the monthly C&J e-newsletter.

Discipleship: Section Leader (Part Time)

You must also be or become a participating member of Willow Creek Community Church.

Operations: Campus Care Cleaning Technician (PT Saturday Nights)

Copyright & Digital Asset Management Coordinator (Part-Time)

This role will provide assistance in ensuring the church is in compliance with all aspects of copyright law in programs (including music, movies, television, photography, text, dance, etc.) and internet design. This role assists in the research and training of copyright law compliance in programs church-wide and will coordinate efforts to procure the permission for the use of copyrighted materials.

This person will establish an internal copyright process for requesting permissions and ordering all copyright licenses and must be able to build relationships with publishers and other copyright holders. In addition this person will coordinate the Digital Asset Management process by entering them into the database, loading non-video documents for assets and establishing asset utilization based on the copyright licenses.

This position requires a person skilled in perseverance, problem solving, administrative skills, organizational agility, time management, written communication, and internet research.

Elder Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

In addition this role will also work with the Elder Selection Committee to complete annual Elder selection process. Also, this person will manage the office needs including the development of the annual budget and maintaining the archive of Elder records and coordinate logistics for special events.

Promiseland Technical Director

The Promiseland Technical Director is part of a team that oversees the technical execution of the children’s ministry weekend programs for Willow Creek Community Church. Promiseland has six production-supported classrooms ranging from Age 2 through Grade 5. The Technical Directors oversee and train the 30+ volunteer production team as well as collaborate with the Programming Directors to creatively communicate the Big God Story. As part of a centralized production department, the Promiseland Technical Director assists with other church-wide events. In addition, this position will provide mentoring and oversight to a partner part-time Promiseland technical director. This position is full-time salaried with a Wednesday through Sunday work week.

NORTH SHORE: Student Ministries: Student Ministries Pastor

In this full time role this person will serve as the leader and pastor of our student ministries. They will be responsible for the overall success of both of our (two) middle school services and our high school service. NORTH SHORE: Video Producer

This full time position will be the primary visual storyteller for Willow Creek North Shore and is responsible for designing, shooting, and editing video, animation, and graphics that communicate in creative and impactful ways. This person will actively explore and research new visual styles and technologies to create engaging and timely content. Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop is highly valued. The Video Producer and will have creative input into developing the worship environment and will participate in the technical execution of weekend services by filling a production position that could include lighting, video direction, technical direction, depending on the weekend. This role also includes guiding volunteers during worship services, as well as some service preparation and system maintenance throughout the week.

This role will be in charge of maintenance, purchases, and installs of equipment. This person is also responsible for scheduling, recruiting, training, and maintaining Production teams. You will focus on accomplishing the mission and vision of the church through the Casa ministry and its sub-ministries. Casa currently hosts a Sunday 11:15am Weekend Worship Service using video and live teaching with all other service elements and weekend ministries being performed live.

In this part time role you will lead the Casa de Luz community toward greater levels of full-life submission through their Worship. This person will lead vocalist and band volunteers involved in the service and special events at Casa de Luz. You will define and lead the unique “sound/vibe” of our multicultural and multigenerational community. This role will focus on accomplishing the mission and vision of the church through the Casa ministry and its sub-ministries. Casa currently hosts a Sunday 11:15am Weekend Worship Service using video and live teaching with all other service elements and weekend ministries being performed live.

Casa de Luz is our Spanish speaking ministry. In this part time role you will lead the creative process and oversee multimedia (sound, video, graphic, lighting, etc.) production. This person will plan, coordinate and implement all details associated with elements in the Weekend Worship Services at Casa de Luz. In addition this person will recruit and develop volunteer teams for programing positions for the Weekend Worship Services at Casa de Luz. You will focus on accomplishing the mission and vision of the church through the Casa ministry and its sub-ministries. Casa currently hosts a Sunday 11:15am Weekend Worship Service using video and live teaching with all other service elements and weekend ministries being performed live.

Do you have a passion for creating a connected community within our church?

Do you have a desire to raise up and lead a team of volunteers, encouraging them to serve the church with their spiritual gifts and passions?

Do you enjoy creating catalytic gatherings that connect people to each other and inspire them to carry out their unique vision of impacting their church and community?

The Section Leader oversees the mid-sized community that sits in a particular section at the 11:15am Weekend Worship Service of Casa de Luz, leading and equipping them to become a fully functioning Acts 2 community that reaches more people with God's love, challenges each other grow to full devotion in Christ, and serves the needs of the church and the community. You must be currently attending Willow Creek Community Church to be considered for this part time (10 hours a week) role and be bilingual (Spanish/English).
