Software Development: System Administrator

This full time System Administrator role for the Web and Software Development Team will provide top notch customer service and operational support of Willow Creek's church management systems. Applying proven communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills, this person will assist internal users on issues related to the usage of these systems and offer solutions to improve processes. Responsibilities also include maintaining system documentation, providing data reports to ministries, and determining approach for data collection and user flows for church initiatives. If you have at least 3 years work experience in management systems, preferably with Microsoft CRM applications, and enjoy working on a team that is both quality and customer focused, and entail a high degree of detail oriented learning agility, then this role may be a fit for you.

Discipleship: Section Leader (Part Time)

Do you have a passion for creating a connected community within our church?

Do you have a desire to raise up and lead a team of volunteers, encouraging them to serve the church with their spiritual gifts and passions?

Do you enjoy creating catalytic gatherings that connect people to each other and inspire them to carry out their unique vision of impacting their church and community?

The Section Leader oversees the mid-sized community that sits in a particular section, leading and equipping them to become a fully functioning Acts 2 community that reaches more people with God's love, challenges each other grow to full devotion in Christ, and serves the needs of the church and the community. You must be currently attending WIllow Creek Community Church to be considered for this part time (10 hours a week) role.

Family Life: PromiseTowne Assistant Teacher —
Toddlers–Age 2 (Part Time)

Are you a seasoned, proactive early-childhood educator with child development experience and a passion for meeting the spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of children?

As an Assistant Teacher in our child day care center, PromiseTowne, you have the opportunity to make an extraordinary impact. Daily open communication with parents as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment of learning and play are among your key responsibilities. You must possess at least one year of child development work experience and have at least 30 college semester hours with six of those hours in Early Childhood Education. Assistant teacher hours are Tuesdays through Fridays (up to 32 hours per week).

Information Technology (I.T.): Technical Support Manager

Do you have 5–7 years of previous work experience in managing technical staff and I.T. support systems?

Would someone describe you as a disciplined problem solver with strong technical skills and the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely way?

We are looking for a full time Technical Support Manager in our I.T. area. This individual will manage the technical support team and the day-to-day operations of the service desk including processing work orders to ensure an optimal customer experience across ministry departments. The ideal candidate is a leader who has had at least 5-7 years previous work experience in managing technical staff, help desk, hardware, software support and moving operational processes forward including budgets. And may hold a bachelor's degree in MIS or equivalent professional experience.

Operations: Campus Care Cleaning Technicians (Part Time — Nights)

We are looking for energetic, spiritually mature individuals to clean our Willow Creek South Barrington facility with excellence. This part-time role would fulfill a 5 or 10 hour night shift on Saturday evenings. The hours range from 9 p.m.–2 a.m. or 9 p.m.–7:30 a.m. The role requires working on your feet. All applicants must be participating members of Willow Creek Community Church.

Operations: Campus Care Setup Technician (Part Time)

Do you enjoy the challenge of supporting behind the scenes necessary tasks?

Do you delight in helping the church create a distraction free environment by creating order and cleanliness?

If so, then this position might be right for you.

As a member of the Campus Care Setup Team, you will have the opportunity to impact the efficiency and effectiveness of ministry by keeping the building operating with excellence. Through a fun, committed team of staff and volunteers, you will provide hands-on support by setting up rooms (tables/chairs), audio visual equipment, cleaning/vacuuming areas, and responding to guest requests. This position is part time 16–24 hours per week. Must be available 7 a.m.–3 p.m. on Fridays and Sunday afternoons 12:30–6 pm. Other shifts may be available.

A working knowledge of databases, an understanding of legal concepts, and strong problem solving agility and discernment is required. If you have prior risk management experience or training in DCFS Child abuse/welfare, an associate’s degree in business administration or social work, and love Christ and protecting His church, this role may be a fit for you.

CASA DE LUZ: Youth Pastor (Part Time)

Are you a seasoned, energetic, bilingual youth pastor who has a passion for the Hispanic youth community?

Do you have proven teaching and presentation abilities?

Are you experienced in moving ministry forward strategically and executing on a ministry’s strategy and action plans?

As a member of the Casa de Luz staff (the Spanish speaking congregation of Willow Creek), this part time (20-29 hours per week) position will provide teaching, leadership, and shepherding of the Casa Youth group (junior high through high school) under the direction of the Casa Pastor as well as be capable of teaching at the Casa adult service occasionally as needed. Responsibilities include preparing for the weekly worship, teaching and small groups experience, and overseeing the leadership, development and implementation of youth strategies and special events that target, and not limited to the areas of evangelism, community life, and pastoral care of students. This individual must also be a volunteer champion who inspires and catalyzes an army of new and returning volunteers including the development of fantastic leaders. Hours are mostly on Sundays 10 a.m.–4 p.m. with some office hours.

If you have a minimum of 2 years of prior teaching experience in a staff role, as well as a minimum of 2 years prior leadership/management experience on staff in a large church environment, strong theological training and education, and excellent interpersonal and pastoral abilities, please consider applying for this position. You would be working in close collaboration with the Worship Pastor, Campus Pastor, and Technical Director to shape powerful defining moments and project manage the creative planning from concept to execution.

NORTH SHORE: Children's Ministry: Promiseland Programming Leader

Do you have a passion to be an up front leader and teacher of children under age 12?

Do you have educational knowledge of child development milestones?

Are you about to communicate clearly and creatively to engage large groups of kids through verbal teaching as well as graphic design and drama?

Do you work best when you're collaborating with other people and teams?

In this role as the Children's Programming Leader for our North Shore Regional Campus, you will be the person responsible for the creation and execution of highly engaging multi-age curriculum and programming. You will utilize your creative communication skills to execute weekend programs along side a team of volunteers. Your responsibilities would include the production, drama, musical components, and behind-the-scenes support of the lesson. You will partner with the Children's Ministries Pastor on all aspects of curriculum design and delivery. The North Shore campus welcomes approximately 400 kids on any given Sunday. The success of our ministry relies on staff team work, servant leadership, and the continual development of key volunteers.
