Food Services: Chef (Full-Time)
Have you ever thought about using your culinary talents to serve the church? Experienced full time chef needed for our high volume food court in this Christian work setting. A strong passion for the food service environment and respect for the processes and procedures needed to operate with excellence a must. If you have the diversity of experience in a variety of high volume settings, this role may be a fit for you. Culinary degree desired but not required if prior experience is sufficient. 4 years prior experience as a FT Chef in a high volume setting is required whether catering, hotel or restaurant. Schedule includes working Wednesdays, Saturday evenings and/or Sunday mornings.

Food Services: Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager
Have you ever thought about using your culinary talents to serve the church? Experienced full time Executive Chef and/or Kitchen Manager needed for our high volume food court in this Christian work setting. A strong passion for the food service environment and respect for the processes and procedures needed to operate with excellence a must. Kitchen management background in supervising teams, menu planning, scheduling and budgeting food costs required.
If you have the diversity of experience in a variety of high volume settings, this role may be a fit for you. Culinary degree or at least 6 years of Culinary Management experience is required whether catering, hotel or restaurant. Great benefits include standard 40 hour work week, 2 days off per week, and no late nights. Typical schedule includes working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.

Do you enjoy creating an excellent and positive customer service experience? We are looking for people who would enjoy assisting in our high volume food court in this Christian work setting. This includes working with and training volunteers to support our guests. You must possess strong interpersonal skills, friendly attitude, and can organize people with tasks. Next Gen Ministries: Elevate (Junior High) Group Life Pastor
Are you a high-energy, catalytic person who loves to lead students toward Jesus?
The person who will thrive in this Group Life Pastor position is energized by working with junior high kids as well as with adult volunteers. He/she is equipped to find and develop volunteer small group leader to serve students. Leader development includes training in small group facilitation, conflict resolution, and crisis care. The Group Life Pastor also shepherds volunteer leaders in their individual spiritual formation so they are prepared to disciple students and to model a vibrant, authentic personal relationship with Jesus. In addition to the Pastor’s role with students and volunteers, this person would be part of a dynamic staff team setting, and be equipped to contribute to its vision and ministry plans.

This leadership position will organize, lead and manage the daily activities of Willow Creek’s Finance/Accounting and Information Technology teams and ensure internal controls are in place and working properly. This role will also consistently review, analyze and enhance internal processes to better serve internal and external customers as well as utilize and introduce cost-effective technologies to enhance and streamline ministry operations.

Web and Software Development: Open Source Web Developer
Are you passionate about learning and applying new technologies to further God’s kingdom?
Do you enjoy working with others to deliver quality, open source, easy-to-use web applications?

As a member of the web and software development team at Willow Creek Community Church, you will have the opportunity to develop applications and websites that have an impact on people’s lives. The Open Source Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all programming, technical support, and special technical projects for the church that leverage open source platforms. In addition, you will contribute to the overall technology strategy for the organization.
Open Source Web Developer position requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in open source web development
- Innovative mindset and energized by creating custom solutions
- Proficient with a variety of programming languages including MySQL, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Proficient in open source solutions (like Joomla and Wordpress)

DUPAGE: Children's Ministry: Promiseland Director
Do you have a passion for the faith ownership of children?
Have you dreamed of working with a high-impact team?
Do you have a theological framework, strategic mind, and vision-casting ability and experience to develop a dynamic and effective faith-development pathway for children?
Do you have at least 5 years of experience leading full-time in Children’s ministry?
Willow Creek is a multi-site church as “one church in multiple locations.” The Promiseland Director of Willow Creek’s DuPage campus is responsible for leading and overseeing the philosophical, strategic, programmatic, and curriculum framework for Promiseland (infants through Grade 5) that leads children towards faith-ownership in Christ. Additional responsibilities include leading staff, volunteer development, child-care programming, budgetary oversight, and faith at home integration.

This person will provide the leadership, vision, strategy and direction for both the new young adult ministry and build upon the current adult discipleship and small groups ministry of the church. This person is passionate about young adults and wants to create a ministry model that fully engages and equips young adults to live out a vibrant and authentic personal relationship with Jesus. This person also believes in the effectiveness of small group ministry. Must be gifted at recruitment and training of leaders. In addition, this leader is called to the development of adults towards a deeper understanding and application of scripture and is energized by seeing adults grow in their faith.
