Celebrate Recovery Program

Christians are not immune to addictive or compulsive disorders. Hiding those problems from our church adds to our burdens of undeserved shame, and hinders healing. Even the apostle Paul admitted his own struggles. "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate, I do."

Recovery from addictive & compulsive disorders is an inside, spiritual process. Within this group, members can find an atmosphere of accepting Christian community and love. It provides an environment of forgiveness and release from shame that encourages a closer relationship with God.

Who will benefit from a recovery program?

This group is open to Christians, Non-Christians, and Seekers alike, who struggle with addictions, and to those affected by addictions. Fear, shame, guilt, and lack of ability to trust are all characteristics of addictive family situations. Willow Creek's Recovery Program provides and anonymous and confidential place within the Church to break these bonds.

This group explores healing and recovery through the Christian "Higher Power" (God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit). We offer help, healing and recovery for those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups.
