Should I attend this workshop if I sometimes hope to reconcile?
If you think marital or relational reconciliation may be possible, we suggest the Marriage Matters Workshop. If you are already divorced or are clearly moving in that direction, we suggest Divorce Recovery.

Do I have to have been married or a Christian to attend?
No.  Anyone can attend this workshop.  Breakdown of long-term relationships can result in the same issures as divorce.  In addition, the healing path is common to all people regardless of their religious beliefs.  All are welcome.

Does this workshop replace the need for professionally counseling?
No, it is not a replacement for professional counseling.  In some cases you may desire additional help through professional counseling to deal with your issues.  Willow Creek maintains a Counseling Referral Network if you are interested in exploring this option. Phone 847-765-5000 & ask for the Pastoral Care Call Center to obtain referrals.

Is there a place that offers support for my children while I attend this workshop?
Our Kids Care Ministry offers Oasis at the same time Divorce Recovery meets. This ministry is designed to help children (infants through High School) experience God's love in the midst of life's challenges. Oasis requires separate registration.
