Work Camp Registration Form (181 Kb)
What can I expect? Camp Paradise is a rustic place, approximately
450 miles from Willow Creek. Camp facilities include eight cabins,
a main lodge, a pavilion with a fieldstone fireplace, unique bucket
showers and a sauna. Camp has no roads, electricity, running water
or telephones. We still even visit the old outhouse! Everything
and everybody must travel the last half-mile by boat. You can expect
good, clean air; good, hard work; and great times of fellowship.
How can I get involved or get more information? Look over
the dates, and fill out the registration form and return it to the
camp office. We will confirm your commitment. Call the camp office
at (847) 765-5000 ext. 1940 or 2199 if you have any questions about
Camp Paradise or the Work Camp program. You may also contact
us by email.
Who
can serve?
Adults 18 years and older, along with students 16-18 (with parental
permission) are invited to serve. We welcome men and women, skilled
and non-skilled, who are in sound, physical condition.
Cost/donations:
We ask you to make a donation of $35-50 to the Work Week fund. This
helps cover the cost of transportation and your meals while at camp.
