(4 - weeks): Overcoming Debt & Building a Budget
(To be taught as part of the Wednesday night "Classes @ Willow")

This class will explore the reasons why people have debt as well as the dangers of accumulating debt during the first two weeks.  The second two weeks is designed to help participants build and maintain a working budget.

(4 - weeks): Wise Investing & Preparing for Retirement
(To be taught as part of the Wednesday night "Classes @ Willow")
Wednesdays, February 18, 25, March 4, & 11, 2009
This class is designed to help people without a detailed knowledge of investing to understand the basic types of investments and how they differ, to encourage wise investing and to help people avoid some of the pitfalls of unwise investing in order to begin saving for retirement.

Financial Freedom Workshop
Saturday, February 21, 2009
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Willow Creek South Barrington; Room 100
This one-day workshop is designed to create awareness of the practical and spiritual benefits of living financially healthy lives and to provide easy to use tools for becoming financially free.
Table leaders will guide participants through the budget creation process.
The fee for this class is $15.00 per person. Lunch & materials provided.

8 Week: 100 Series Workshop
Finding Hope in Financial Stress
Mondays, March 16, 2009 - May 4, 2009
7 - 9 p.m. at Willow Creek South Barrington; Room 100
Finding Hope in Financial Stress is an eight-week workshop designed for those who are struggling to stabilize their financial situation or who find themselves with high debt or negative cash flow. Time will be spent learning specific tools for debt reduction, expense tracking and developing a working budget. The workshop is organized in small groups with trained leaders in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants will not be required to share financial information, but will benefit from realizing they are not alone in their financial difficulty. The principles discussed form a foundation of hope and confidence while promoting personal growth and freedom in a biblical context.
The fee for this workshop is $30 per person (or $40 for a couple).

(3 - week series) Raising Financially Healthy Kids
(Will be taught as part of the Wednesday night Classes @ Willow)
Wednesdays, April 29, May 6, & May 13, 2009

This class combines sound biblical principles, helpful parenting skills, simple methods for kids to learn about money and specific techniques for parents to train their children to live healthy, successful God-honoring lives.

Practical Steps to Financial Freedom

Learn the biblical principles of managing money and specific ways to improve your financial health in a relaxed and interactive environment.

What the Bible says about money; Debt & Credit; Savings, giving, record-keeping, and budgeting; and How the culture effects our financial habits.
