Love God, love people, and change the world. We believe the life and lessons of Jesus aren’t just good advice, but are Good News for us here and now.
Jesus challenged religious systems, lifted up the outcast, gave value to the overlooked, healed the hurting, and redefined who and how we are to love. And while we won’t get it perfect, we want to follow Him in doing the same.
God sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9
As a church, we are all about following Jesus, and we know there’s no end to that journey—we’re more about becoming than arriving.
We are committed to becoming a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multiplying movement of Christ followers, equipping our kids and students to be the church of tomorrow—and empowering each of us to be the church of today.
At Willow, we realize that getting connected in community matters. Let’s get to know each other so we can be the church together and express our faith in meaningful ways.
Being a kid is both fun and challenging, especially in our digital age. Willow’s age-targeted programs for kids and students provide a place where your child can bring it all—their joys, worries, hopes, questions, and fears—and learn about a God who loves them and has a plan for their lives. We’re committed to helping kids and students build friendships within their small groups and take next steps with Jesus as they learn to love God, love people, and change the world.
At times, everyone experiences seasons of struggle, sorrow, or difficulty. At Willow, you’re not in it alone. Whether you’re looking for emotional support or some help with tangible needs, help starts here. Our pastors, staff, and volunteers are ready to listen, learn, and help you find a way forward.
At Willow, everything we do has one thing in common: we do it together—with God and with each other. Check out one of eight Willow locations across Chicagoland for an in-person experience—or explore Willow Online and On-Demand services from the comfort of home, and see what Willow is all about!
Each Sunday, while people gather in person at Willow locations throughout Chicagoland to worship, learn, and connect, our online community meets to do the same! Check out WillowCreek.TV to experience a Willow service from home, or download the Willow Creek Church app to experience Willow on the go.
We believe the Bible gives us a glimpse into who God is and provides wisdom and insight into what it means to follow Jesus. Check out our on-demand teaching library to find a topic or passage you want to learn more about!
The first-century church lived out the Good News of Jesus in tangible ways that changed the world forever. This summer, we’ll study the book of Acts as a catalyst to unleash little and large acts of kindness and service to share the radical and inviting love of Jesus.
